Mathias Strasser
Founder

Mathias has practised law for more than 20 years, and has worked in the legal tech world for over ten years.

He has broad legal experience and is a recognised expert in derivatives law and automation, having founded WallStreetDocs, RegXchange, PRIIP Cloud, and Scissero.

Mathias holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, and a Mag.Jur and a Dr.Jur in law from the University of Vienna.

Managing Director

Frances brings a wealth of experience to WSD, with a successful track record in the finance and technology sectors. Prior to joining WSD, she served as an independent M&A advisor in technology and Wealth Management, representing owners and investors.

She also held the position of Managing Director Econocom North America, UK & IRL. She has led the EMEA Advisory Council to the Board of 100 Women in Finance and The French Chamber of Commerce, showcasing her commitment to driving positive change within the industry.

Stephen has 19 years of experience in the finance industry, with a track record of leading and executing complex projects.

Prior to joining WSD, Stephen worked at Barclays Investment Bank, delivering a global electronic platform for cross-asset structured products.

Stephen fosters financial literacy and career development through strategic partnerships with local charities. Stephen holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Nottingham University.

Chief Product and Technology Officer

Stephen leads the firm's technology and product strategy across its global business, overseeing architecture, engineering, product, QA, and controls functions to deliver scalable, modern platforms.

A software developer and architect by background, he has deep expertise in designing large-scale, cloud-native systems. With over 20 years in Front Office, Risk, and Finance technology, Stephen has held senior leadership roles at S&P Global, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, and RBS, delivering major regulatory programmes and transformation initiatives.

He combines technical depth with strong business acumen, enabling him to bridge strategy and execution while supporting clients with practical, technology-led solutions.

Paige Orr
Global Head of Sales

Paige joined WSD in 2024 after 5 years as Head of Sales at LMRKTS, a Capitolis company.  

Before LMRKTS, he helped build several top ranked institutional client businesses at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital and Standard Chartered Bank in the United States, Europe and Asia.  

Paige began his career in finance as a graduate at Bankers Trust Company in New York in 1995 and graduated magna cum laude from Connecticut College with a double BA in Economics (Honors) and International Relations (Honors and Distinction).

Jan is an experienced HR Director with over 20 years in medium-sized international organisations.

His expertise spans compliance management, performance improvement, and process optimisation - driving operational excellence and sustainable people strategies across borders.
